      The Hoenderbed provided us with an exceptionally relaxing midweek break; the surroundings and accommodation were ‘rural’; the cottage blended in with its natural surroundings; it was well maintained, functional and clean. A beautiful location.

      A beautiful landscape with plenty of opportunities for walking and cycling. Literally ‘Peace and Space’ for us city dwellers. A warm welcome from the hosts, who embody ‘peace and space’ in their lifestyle. Zutphen is the icing on the cake in this landscape.

      Erik en Els zijn zeer gastvrije vriendelijke eigenaren van het knusse Hoenderbed. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Zodra je het huisje binnen komt stap je in een nostalgische sfeer. De bedstee slaapt heerlijk, de keuken is van alles voorzien en het uitzicht is schitterend

      We had a lovely week at Hoenderbed cottage. It’s the perfect place for people who love nature, walking and cycling. We slept cosily in the box bed. A spotted woodpecker appeared right outside our window, and on a walk we saw a roe deer crossing the path in front of us. Don’t forget to look up at the sky, as two buzzards are often seen circling there. All in all, highly recommended.
